THE CHEAPEST THING YOU CAN ADD TO YOUR HERBICIDE MIX …

    WATER!

The hardest part of the mix for agronomists to sell is the least expensive and is the carrier of the products, water. Over the years the water component of spray mixes has been reduced, so that acres can be covered quicker and filling can happen less. In some cases this has been working, but on fields where weeds have become an issue, you can strengthen your current herbicides by simply using more water per acre (think glyphosate on volunteer ryegrass).

    MORE WATER PER ACRE PROVIDES:

    1. BETTER COVERAGE

    2. LARGER SOLUTION OF ACTIVE INGREDIENTS FOR LESS ANTAGONISM AND COMPATIBILITY ISSUES

    3. BETTER CROP SAFETY

Contact herbicides like Flexstar and Liberty need 15-20 gallons of water per acre for best weed control. Don’t take my word for it, split a field and see if you can see a difference.
